Topakustik AG uses Hoop to handle company changes and new incorporations across its group – saving around two hours per case while replacing paper-heavy coordination with a simple digital process.
“Hoop is the best and most intuitive digital tool for handling company incorporations and changes.” – Theodor Jaggi, Co-owner and Chairman of the Board, Topakustik AG
Topakustik AG has used Hoop since early 2025 to manage company changes and new incorporations within its group. For Theodor Jaggi, Co-owner and Chairman of the Board, the biggest advantages are clear: significantly less administrative work, intuitive handling, and a process that no longer depends on paper documents moving back and forth.
In this interview, he explains why Topakustik chose Hoop, how quickly the team got started, and where the digital workflow creates the greatest value.
What made the traditional process so time-consuming?
Theodor Jaggi: The process was cumbersome, manual, and paper-driven. The most demanding part was obtaining certified signatures and making sure the signed documents came back on time. For every company change or update to signing authority, we previously had to allow roughly half a working day. Keeping all the documents together and coordinating the certifications created a great deal of administrative effort.
Why did Topakustik choose Hoop?
Theodor Jaggi: I first learned about Hoop through an article on the Abacus website. We had already gained experience with other digital solutions, so we knew exactly what mattered to us: the platform had to be simple, logical, and intuitive. The most important requirement was a solution that would take work off my plate rather than create additional work. Hoop met that requirement from the start.
How did the implementation go?
Theodor Jaggi: It was straightforward. We did not need any training and were able to use the platform productively right away. There were no real hurdles during the rollout – the process was intuitive and quick to understand.
Where does Hoop make the biggest difference today?
Theodor Jaggi: The greatest benefit is in handling company changes. With DeepID and DeepSign integrated into the workflow, identification and signing can be completed digitally. We no longer need to coordinate certified signatures manually or distribute physical documents.
«We now save around two hours for each company change or change in signing authority.»
The digital checks also help ensure that information is correct and complete, while the entire process is faster, better documented, and less prone to errors.
How have customers and partners responded?
Theodor Jaggi: They benefit from the faster process as well. Upcoming changes and company incorporations can be completed more efficiently. Some people are skeptical at first because the process is fully digital, but that usually changes quickly once they experience how simple it is. Overall, the response has been very positive.
Would you go back to the old process?
Theodor Jaggi: No. The paper-based process required far more effort and was less efficient. Hoop gives us a simple, fast, and well-documented way to manage company changes and incorporations. It reduces administrative work while improving the quality of the process – and that is exactly the value we were looking for.
